McKenna was born in the Utah Rockies, raised on Shakespeare, stories and magik, and is determined to make a career out of the above.

Film work includes a leading role in Everwinter Night (Dreamscape Productions) and a supporting role opposite Roger Clark in Round the Decay (Dreamscape Productions), with additional leading roles in Barbizon Days (Secret Beach Productions), The Moth (Collapsing Star Productions) and Lamia, a fantasy film inspired by Basque Mythology, with multiple film festival awards. 

 

Alumni to The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA) 3 year conservatory program, McKenna has training from the Upright Citizens Brigade, NYC Stage Combat (NYCSS), the Utah Shakespeare Festival, and workshops with Frank Langella, and Kathleen McNenny.

 

On stage, McKenna originated Rose of Sharon in the workshop production of Douglas Carter Beane’s To Wong Foo the Musical, reprised Orlando in Strong Fxmale Lead’s As You Like It and played Ismene in a reimagining of Antigone at Bank Street Theatre. She is also a returning performer with Cirque du Nuit, Doors of Divergence, and Undersigned.
